Brief Project Summary:

This project will use a set of top candidate biocontrol fungi and toxin producing fungi identified in work currently funded through the MSRPC in 2017 to work on translating these findings into a viable biocontrol or bionematicide product by 1) performing bioactivity guided fractionation to chemically identify antagonistic compounds in high-toxicity strains, and 2) testing different formulations, application methods, and biocontrol efficacy of biocontrol candidates in greenhouse trials in preparation for field trials.
