The main objectives are to:
~ Determine the distribution and population density of Hoplolaimus species in soybean growing counties in South Carolina.
~ Identify ecological and management factors potentially correlated to the presence of specific species of lance nematodes. and
~ Develop molecular diagnostic methods to identify the main species of lance nematodes associated with soybean.
