Success in implementing a Michigan soybean yield contest has been minimal in past years. The decision to re-initiate such an effort in 2006 was to build upon the Michigan Soybean 2010 project. With the commitment of MSUE to be supportive of Soybean 2010, there was increased interest in promoting the yield contest to augment Soybean 2010. With three years of yield contest experience, the MSPC is building upon past successes.
