Brief Project Summary:

The goal of this project is to develop unbiased information to support commercialization of an existing patented biocontrol fungus for soybean cyst nematode and to discover other biocontrol agents for potential control of all types of soybean nematodes. If effective, this biocontrol fungus could save growers millions, potentially with a single application, or at least very infrequent application over the years. Field research is needed to support commercialization but at least one biocontrol company is currently interested, if additional field testing is positive.
