Brief Project Summary:

This proposal requests support for mass spectrometric analyses to determine the concentration of neonicotinoid insecticides found in soil, soybean flowers, wild flowers around field perimeters, and in honey bees and pollen being collected by foraging bees to determine the potential exposure of insect pollinators to these insecticides. Additional sampling and analyses may be done in 2013 depending upon the results of analyses for samples collected in 2012.
