Brief Project Summary:

The findings from this project could have a positive economic effect on production cost by increasing yields and lowering production costs. The project involves determining the importance of Neocosmospora Rot, Black Root Rot, and Sudden Death Syndrome in the yield of soybeans in an early season production system, and developing screening techniques to evaluate new and existing soybean varieties and lines for resistance to these three soilborne pathogens.
