Brief Project Summary:

The analyses will help soybean producers make decisions about whether to invest in irrigation practices and surface water sources for irrigation. These investments can lower fuel costs associated with irrigation pumping, but there are also higher capital costs. The study examines the factors that tip producers to either invest or not.
