Brief Project Summary:

Soybean Cyst Nematode (SCN) is one of the most important pests of soybeans in Michigan. Nemastrike, ILevo, and BIOst Nematicides are the emerging seed treatments for control of this pest but there is minimal performance data available on these treatments. Preliminary trials conducted by MSU Nematology in 2018 showed a positive impact of ILevo and BIOst treatments on soybean yields. However, it wasn’t possible to get Nemastrike treated seeds of the same variety, so this treatment was not able to be included. However, we did do strip trials with Nemastrike provided by Monsanto, unfortunately we are not allowed to share the data but the results look promising. Continued testing is required...
