Project Deliverables

• Transgenic soybean lines with significantly (t-test, one-way ANOVA) higher levels of seed oil and no significant change in protein content compared to non-transgenic reference lines. Transgenic lines will be produced containing 1) a BADC RNAi silencing cassette and 2) an overexpression cassette containing a truncated form of a-CT. Both of these strategies have been used successfully in Arabidopsis thaliana and Camelina sativa as proof-of-principal.

The United Soybean Research Retention policy will display final reports with the project once completed but working files will be purged after three years. And financial information after seven years. All pertinent information is in the final report or if you want more information, please contact the project lead at your state soybean organization or principal investigator listed on the project.
