The aim of this work is to identify, and eventually manipulate those reactions or enzymes of the developing soybean seed in a manner that should enhance oil accumulation in an elite variety of soybean that is even better able to compete with other oilseeds as a raw material for the biodiesel industry while maintaining its usefulness for other commercial applications.

Final Project Results

The United Soybean Research Retention policy will display final reports with the project once completed but working files will be purged after three years.
