In recent years, previously unreported economically important Soybean Diseases have been identified in North Dakota. The objective of this new project is to conduct an intensive survey of soybean fields in North Dakota to assess the prevalence and distribution of these emerging diseases; and create a culture collection of pathogens causing disease. The project will concentrate on four Soybean Diseases (anthracnose, charcoal rot, brown spot and soybean rust). The results of the survey will aid in developing management strategies for diseases in North Dakota.
The United Soybean Research Retention policy will display final reports with the project once completed but working files will be purged after three years. And financial information after seven years. All pertinent information is in the final report or if you want more information, please contact the project lead at your state soybean organization or principal investigator listed on the project.
