Brief Project Summary:

In recent years, previously unreported economically important Soybean Diseases have been identified in North Dakota. The objective of this new project is to: 1) Conduct an intensive survey of soybean fields in North Dakota to assess the prevalence and distribution of these emerging diseases; and 2) Create a culture collection of pathogens causing disease. The project will concentrate on four Soybean Diseases (anthracnose, charcoal rot, brown spot and soybean rust). The results of the survey will aid in developing management strategies for diseases in North Dakota.
