Brief Project Summary:

In this project, researchers evaluate new and emerging technologies, rapidly identify herbicide-resistant weeds, determine their distribution, determine their mechanisms of resistance and develop viable solutions for managing herbicide-resistant weeds, reducing the soil weed seed bank and controlling other problematic weeds for Arkansas full season soybean producers. Goals also include using full-season production methods to aid in reducing the overall soil weed seed bank and implementing activities that provide rapid weed management information exchange between the grower, extension personnel and researchers.
