• A comprehensive wet chemistry data summary of the comparison of South American and U.S. soybean quality constituents will be provided to USB, based on a total of 390 South American samples (216 from Brazil, 144 from Argentina, 20 from Paraguay and 10 from Uruguay), and 200 U.S. samples.
• A comprehensive NIR data summary, if appropriate, of the same sets of samples.
• Protein and oil data for the South American samples will be individually distributed back to participating growers from whom we received sample(s). Growers will receive protein and oil results for only their sample(s).
• Dr. Bajjalieh will provide a high-level evaluation of the analytical results from the South American and U.S. soybean samples, and the process will focus on meal characteristics based on those analytical results. This will include tables with least-cost runs to compare meal value for each of the 72 least-cost runs between the U.S. and South American sample sets. He also will provide a report in PowerPoint format which will include observations, comments, and recommended next steps.
