Wet environmental conditions during Arkansas soybean harvest are detrimental to yields and are also the conditions that favor the development of the yield and quality robbing late-season diseases, such as Anthracnose and Pod & Stem Blight. As management for profitable early season soybean production becomes more intense, growers have to push for higher yields. Late season diseases annually rob growers of 5% of their yields in Arkansas and up to 50% during unusually, wet harvest seasons.
