Michigan State University Extension field crop educators want to continue the effective, efficient and productive partnership that has developed between MSU Extension and the Michigan Soybean Promotion Committee. The synergistic effects of the two organizations working together will benefit Michigan soybean producers through higher yields and lower costs. The products to be evaluated and/or demonstrated will include: new seed treatments, soybean cyst nematode resistant varieties, and foliar fertilizers containing sulfur and manganese. The management practices will include improving variety selection by conducting local soybean variety performance trials and using/controlling cover crops....
Conduct on-farm research trials and publish the results from all trials in the 2014 SMaRT On-Farm Research Report.
The United Soybean Research Retention policy will display final reports with the project once completed but working files will be purged after three years. And financial information after seven years. All pertinent information is in the final report or if you want more information, please contact the project lead at your state soybean organization or principal investigator listed on the project.
