Brief Project Summary:

Varietal resistance to the Soybean Cyst Nematode (SCN) of Michigan marketed varieties uses PI 88788 as the source of resistance. Continued use of a single source of resistance has the real potential of allowing SCN to overcome the host plant resistance.

Because of the free SCN soil sample analysis and resultant data, they can identify fields with a history of SCN and involve growers in determining any SCN population shifts resulting from SCN management practices.

Final Project Results

The United Soybean Research Retention policy will display final reports with the project once completed but working files will be purged after three years. And financial information after seven years. All pertinent information is in the final report or if you want more information, please contact the project lead at your state soybean organization or principal investigator listed on the project.
