The overall goal of this project is to maintain long-term effectiveness of current herbicide technologies by mitigating, or slowing, the spread of glyphosate-resistant weeds including Palmer amaranth, waterhemp and marestail (horseweed) in Kentucky. This research will improve grower's understanding of how significant of a threat these weeds are to the herbicide technologies being used and will enable them to be in a better position to make an informed decision when developing an herbicide program for managing these weeds.
