Final Project Results

The potential functionality of a combined system using both the third-party software for tax depreciation and a K-MAR-105 application for economic depreciation is currently being further developed and tested. Further review of the system was completed by all KFMA Economists in late-Spring 2013 with a decision being made to proceed with developing this system utilizing an asset management database program for CCH for the tax's depreciation computations along with the system programmed at K-MAR-105 for the economic deprecation and market value database. This coordinated system will allow for all assets to be maintained within a database at K-MAR-105 for future management and research use. This opportunity of an expanded and more readily available set of machinery and equipment data has the potential to provide great value to KFMA member farms and to all Kansas agricultural producers.

The United Soybean Research Retention policy will display final reports with the project once completed but working files will be purged after three years. And financial information after seven years. All pertinent information is in the final report or if you want more information, please contact the project lead at your state soybean organization or principal investigator listed on the project.
