Brief Project Summary:

This project will build on existing knowledge from ongoing long-term experiments and will include new experiments to better understand these processes and to alleviate this uncertainty. The main goal of the study is to better understand relationships between potassium fertilization, grain yield, whole plant potassium uptake, grain potassium removal, potassium recycling and the fate of potassium in different soil pools to improve the efficacy of potassium management and improve economic benefits.
