Sudden death syndrome of soybean (SDS) and soybean cyst nematode (SCN) are two pest issues that have the potential to cause significant yield on an annual basis in Indiana. SDS was widespread in north-central and northwest Indiana in 2010, and many producers are interested in understanding how to manage the disease in subsequent years. Additionally, past research suggests that the population size and genetic profile of SCN within a field may influence how SDS should be managed.
