Precision Agriculture is a tool for growers to reduce environmental impact and increase profit margins. With more data and technology available, researchers and growers now have the ability to resolve within-field variability at higher spatial resolutions. This technological shift has led to management not by field, but by acre. However, the introduction of this technology has led to many questions from growers as to where on the farm it should be deployed. Soybean growers and researchers have shown a growing interest in utilizing this technology for optimal seeding rates in order to increase yields and decrease input costs.
