Macronutrients like phosphorus (P) and potassium (K significant inputs for soybean. Long term rate and timing trials of P and K established at four locations across Minnesota in 2009. These trials are designed to study how soybean responds (in both grain quality and yield) based on P and K fertilizer application over a long-term (ten year) study using a two-year corn-soybean rotation. The goal of this work is to determine the proper rate to maintain yield and whether time of application within the rotation matter for maintaining a high yield potential.
