Brief Project Summary:

The biodiesel industry has become a large soybean oil customer. Several states and major municipalities have adopted Bioheat fuel mandates, including Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York State (downstate counties) and New York City. To ensure uninterrupted government support, this project provides Northeast regulators access to wide array of technical information.

Project Deliverables

NBB staff maintain regular communications with state and regulatory staff and environmental organizations to ensure the emissions benefits of biodiesel as well as other technical issues are well understood. NBB staff attend public meetings and webinars to ensure we part of the "conversation"

Final Project Results

The United Soybean Research Retention policy will display final reports with the project once completed but working files will be purged after three years. And financial information after seven years. All pertinent information is in the final report or if you want more information, please contact the project lead at your state soybean organization or principal investigator listed on the project.
