This research aims at identifying novel and applicable genes, capable of inducing drought tolerance without disrupting, if not enhancing, plant growth and development. The work screens changes in gene expressions in soybeans and a model plant. Efforts characterize the physiological roles and functions of identified genes in plant growth regulation and drought tolerance.
