Brief Project Summary:

The overall research mission is to identify potential yield limitations via soil and plant analysis and prevent soybean yield losses attributed to insufficient or toxic mineral nutrition. To do this, efforts evaluate the benefit of foliar-applied solutions that claim to enhance soybean yield, continue to evaluate phosphorus and potassium fertilization strategies, soil test methods and plant analysis that aid in identifying deficient soils and/or maximize yield potential and economic returns, and develop a leaf tissue chloride concentration that can be used to diagnose chloride toxicity.

Key Benefactors:
farmers, agronomists, extension agents

Final Project Results

The United Soybean Research Retention policy will display final reports with the project once completed but working files will be purged after three years. And financial information after seven years. All pertinent information is in the final report or if you want more information, please contact the project lead at your state soybean organization or principal investigator listed on the project.
