Information And Results
Project Deliverables

• Report and make publicly available the genetic marker information that breeders can use to select the Fiskeby III IDC and drought resistance traits by the end of Year 1 (September 2019).
• Publish (with open access) the mapping data for IDC and drought QTL in Fiskeby III, including information on the fine-mapping of the IDC locus, by the end of Year 1.
• Publish the Fiskeby III first-draft genome assembly online at Soybase by September 2019. This will be freely available and will be immediately useful to researchers working on soybean abiotic stress traits.
• Delivery of new breeding lines and cultivars with the abiotic stress tolerance traits is a longer-term objective that will be reported in subsequent years of this project.
• Publication of the genes and DNA sequence differences that cause the IDC and drought tolerance traits is also a long-term objective that will be reported in subsequent years.

Final Project Results

The United Soybean Research Retention policy will display final reports with the project once completed but working files will be purged after three years. And financial information after seven years.
