The goal of this project is to evaluate the value of residue herbicide use in current soybean production systems. Planting earlier, higher seed costs and more concern about herbicide-resistant weeds is providing the reason to investigate the value of residue herbicides in soybean production systems.
Preliminary results of this continuing project have produced a tremendous amount of data regarding both weed control efficacy and soybean yield. The researchers are confident that with the third year of results they will be able to develop best management practices for herbicide management and how a combination of herbicides and agronomic practices will play an important role in weed contro...
