Brief Project Summary:

Palmer amaranth is a significant and new threat to soybean production in Illinois. This project will positively identify new suspect Palmer amaranth populations, and track its occurrence in the state. Specific objectives include: positively identifying suspect Palmer amaranth populations; providing results of identification tests directly back to growers; and increasing grower awareness of Palmer amaranth in Illinois.
