Project Deliverables

We will expect to produce a working SCN virulence assay validated on various unrelated SCN populations. While our work, over the next year may not develop a DNA-based virulence test for all known Hg Types, we hope to have assays for some of the most common virulence types. We will also produce a list of soybean resistance gene combinations that show differing selection of SCN virulence loci. Finally we will produce a list of soybean proteins that bind to our verified SCN virulence protein.

Final Project Results

The United Soybean Research Retention policy will display final reports with the project once completed but working files will be purged after three years. And financial information after seven years. All pertinent information is in the final report or if you want more information, please contact the project lead at your state soybean organization or principal investigator listed on the project.
