Final Project Results

Update:
Project Status:
1. The final Excel results tables of the 2013 trials were sent to collaborator and participants on March 24, 2014.
2. The final formatted 2013 Annual Report was produced in May 2014. Electronic copies of the 2013 Annual Report were distributed on May 30, 2014. Hard copies were mailed the first week of June 2014.
3. Seed for the 2014 trials was organized and distributed to collaborators on schedule, except for check seed that was received late.
4. The 2014 trials were completed and the data was received, organized, reviewed, and analyzed. The draft results of the analysis were sent on January 20, 2015 to participants and collaborators for review.
5. All seven 2014 trials at Stoneville were grown, harvested and the data reported.
6. Stem canker testing by me at Stoneville, MS was not successful. Either the innoculum was not aggressive and/or the cooler temps and well timed rains inhibited disease progression.
7. The Annual Meeting was held in St. Louis on February 17, 2015.

Progress for each KPI is specified according to the numbered KPIs in section 3.4:
1. The 2014 results of the Southern Uniform Soybean Tests were published and available online as of Feb. 2015.The 2014 contained nearly 175 entries in over 20 locations in 12 states from 15 public breeders.
2. The 2014 Southern Uniform Soybean test included about a dozen entries containing value-added oil traits and elevated protein.

The United Soybean Research Retention policy will display final reports with the project once completed but working files will be purged after three years. And financial information after seven years. All pertinent information is in the final report or if you want more information, please contact the project lead at your state soybean organization or principal investigator listed on the project.
