Project Deliverables

The primary goal is to increase soybean producer profitability by reducing yield losses and seed injury caused by PSD. This will be attained by 1) identifying new sources of resistance to PSD; 2) breeding high yielding cultivars and agronomically competitive breeding lines with PSD resistance, and 3) understand the diversity of pathogen isolates and the mechanisms by which the pathogen causes disease in order to develop effective disease control/management strategies.

Final Project Results

The United Soybean Research Retention policy will display final reports with the project once completed but working files will be purged after three years. And financial information after seven years. All pertinent information is in the final report or if you want more information, please contact the project lead at your state soybean organization or principal investigator listed on the project.
