Project Deliverables

The following deliverable products are expected at the end of the first three years:
1. DNA sequences and expression levels of all functional genes in seeds from 21 soybean germplasm.
2. DNA sequence and expression variation of all functional genes in soybean seeds among the 21 germplasm, which can be further developed into functional markers for a variety of soybean seed traits.
3. A set of putative soybean functional markers for specific lipids such as oleic acid, linolenic acid, stearic acid, and total oil content for the 21 soybean germplasm.

Final Project Results

The United Soybean Research Retention policy will display final reports with the project once completed but working files will be purged after three years. And financial information after seven years. All pertinent information is in the final report or if you want more information, please contact the project lead at your state soybean organization or principal investigator listed on the project.
