This project aims to evaluate, teach and provide data on currently marketed practices and products. Field studies examine and evaluate the technological, agronomic and foliar nutrient application effects on maturity group 4 and 5 soybeans. Practices and products unsupported by unbiased research are potentially unproven and unprofitable, or, at best, unpredictable in terms of realized benefits to producers. For example, foliar nutritional products are in many agricultural companies' portfolios, yet there is limited university data supporting application of these products, and discrepancies often exist between university and some industry recommendations.
