Brief Project Summary:

The researchers will screen current soybean varieties for crude protein and amino acid composition that relate to a set of historic varieties formerly grown in Illinois and report that information on the Variety Information Program for Soybeans (VIPS) website. This project will assist soybean farmers understand those compositional components that contribute to soybean value as viewed by the soybean processor and feed industry.

The United Soybean Research Retention policy will display final reports with the project once completed but working files will be purged after three years.
