This research aims to determine the effectiveness of cover crops for controlling underlying weed populations in conjunction with pre-emergence residual herbicide applications in soybeans, if cover crops can be used as a viable weed management component for Mississippi soybeans, and which cover crop species may provide the most benefit if this option is viable.
