This project involves providing guidelines to aerial applicators and farm managers that can be used to avoid spraying under stable atmospheric conditions that can result in temperature inversions. The research provides for the use of weather tower data to track atmospheric stability over a cropping season and use results to predict when a temperature inversion is likely to occur.
