Brief Project Summary:

This project will evaluate commonly grown, commercially available SCN varieties at numerous field sites across Minnesota and in the greenhouse. The evaluations for each variety include yield performance and a Reproductive Index (RI) at each SCN infested field site and a greenhouse derived Female Index (FI). The field HG type for the SCN populations will be determined and reported for each of the field test locations. This information will be critical to the future effective management of Soybean Cyst Nematode through the use of SCN resistant soybean varieties. Results will be reported on a timely basis in order to be used for the next years' management decisions.
