This project continues to evaluate about 150 commonly grown, commercially available soybean cyst nematode (SCN) varieties at numerous field sites across Minnesota and in the greenhouse. The evaluations for each variety include yield performance and a Reproductive Index (RI) at each SCN infested field site and a greenhouse derived Female Index (FI). The field HG type SCN populations will be determined and reported for each of the field test locations. This information will be critical to the future effective management of Soybean Cyst Nematode through the use of SCN resistant soybean varieties. The results will be timely reported so that they can be used for making management decisions...
The United Soybean Research Retention policy will display final reports with the project once completed but working files will be purged after three years. And financial information after seven years. All pertinent information is in the final report or if you want more information, please contact the project lead at your state soybean organization or principal investigator listed on the project.
