This project will continue the characterization of the collection of approximately 60,000 genetically varied soybeans lines that were produced through mutagenesis of a current Minnesota cultivar. Special emphasis is directed at identifying lines with particular quality traits related to protein and oil. With the use of molecular markers these traits could be added to Minnesota adapted soybean varieties.
The United Soybean Research Retention policy will display final reports with the project once completed but working files will be purged after three years. And financial information after seven years. All pertinent information is in the final report or if you want more information, please contact the project lead at your state soybean organization or principal investigator listed on the project.
