Insect pathogenic nematodes are widespread and this potential predator can control outbreaks of soil insect pests, but population distributions and their ability to manage pest populations in Maryland is unknown.
These preliminary data will allow the design of an experimental framework intended to manage soils to promote the long-term persistence of entomopathogenic nematodes and their biological control possibilities.
