Soybean Diseases often limit soybean production and estimates of losses range from 10-15% annually. As new lines develop from either wide-hybridization or from intra-specific crosses, there is a need to evaluate this new material for disease resistance. The objective for this project is to evaluate Glycine tomentella x soybean lines for resistance to several diseases including soybean rust; and to evaluate new and old cultivars in the "era" study for disease resistance.
