Our current recommendations to manage glyphosate-resistant waterhemp in soybean include utilization of full rates of soil-residual herbicides as the foundation of the four-step management scenario. We propose to create an educational pamphlet that outlines practices and procedures that are known to increase the consistency of performance and soil persistence of soil-residual herbicides. The objective of the publication would be to provide easy-to-follow recommendations that soybean producers can follow to increase the consistency in performance of soil-applied herbicides.
