Brief Project Summary:

This project was established in fall of 2011 and successfully executed in the 2012 growing season. The agronomic response of soybeans to seed trait (herbicide resistance source), cover crop, and pre- and post-emergence herbicide systems is being determined. The 2012 results indicated that soybean yields were increased by planting a rye cover crop compared winter fallow and early post-emergence herbicides.
