Insect pests of soybeans can significantly reduce yield and quality. The current price of soybeans encourages producers to apply insecticides to reduce yield losses compared to when soybeans were priced lower. Currently, there is a lack of research-based information about the amount of financial loss that different complexes of insect pests of soybeans can inflict. The objective of this project is to determine the amount of financial loss that different complexes of insect pests of soybeans can produce in north, central and south Alabama.
