Brief Project Summary:

A state-wide soybean disease survey was initiated in 2008. It included observations from over forty fields on the incidence and severity of various foliar diseases, plant viruses and plant-parasitic nematodes. This project will continue the survey efforts to identify foliar and stem diseases, and insect-transmitted viruses in the four regions of Alabama, and will continue to identify soybean cyst nematode and root-knot nematode populations associated with soybeans in Alabama.
