Project objectives include cooperating with farmers to establish on-farm whole-field trials, to verify value of research-based Extension recommendations and working with farmers to implement Extension recommendations in a timely manner. Fields will be scouted weekly and reports will be distributed to cooperating farmers, extension agents and cooperating agribusinesses. Weekly scouting reports will be distributed via electronic and other Communication means. By documenting inputs, expenses and yields, budgets will be created to compare Extension and farmer production systems.
