Project Deliverables

The proposed research will produce molecular research tools and a viable strategy for generating clean (selectable marker-free, recombinase-free) transgenic soybean plants. Novel soybean transformation vectors will have been constructed and successfully used to generate independent founder lines which will form the basis for future soybean biotechnology research. If successful, these resources will enable the production of single copy transgenic soybean, free of selectable markers and any other unwanted transformation sequences, in an efficient single-step genetic engineering process.

Final Project Results

The United Soybean Research Retention policy will display final reports with the project once completed but working files will be purged after three years. And financial information after seven years. All pertinent information is in the final report or if you want more information, please contact the project lead at your state soybean organization or principal investigator listed on the project.
