Brief Project Summary:

The goal of this project is to insure that Pennsylvania swine industry is preserved and positioned for future growth. Here we propose research that specifically targets a better understanding of the concerns raised by the public in an effort to prepare Pennsylvania swine farmers for their future.

Information And Results
Project Deliverables

1. Assist and stimulate producers into taking more SCN samples.
2. Reduce loss from SCN and hence increase the net income of Tennessee soybean growers.
3. Identify new races of SCN and help producers devise control methods.
4. Provide SCN management strategies to soybean growers.
5. Increase exposure of the Soybean Promotion Board and the University of Tennessee to the producers of Tennessee concerning their cooperative efforts to improve economic production through better disease and nematode management.

Final Project Results

The United Soybean Research Retention policy will display final reports with the project once completed but working files will be purged after three years. And financial information after seven years.
