Brief Project Summary:

This project focuses on determining the role of nutrition and soil-applied nutrients in reducing infection by charcoal rot. Research seeks to determine pathogenicity differences among isolates of the pathogen that originate from other hosts in addition to soybeans, provide management options and specific methods to alleviate stress and delay disease symptom expression resulting from charcoal rot infestation.
